Casa Contini is located in Alta Maremma, to be precise in the "golden triangle" formed by the tuff towns of Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana that in 1100 all formed part of the Principality of Sovana, this comprising a vast area of land extended by a large territory donated by Emperor Barbarossa to his faithful vassal Aldobrando degli Aldobrandeschi.

You will need a car to reach the hamlet that lies within the small village of Montebuono in the Commune of Sorano. Those travelling by plane or train may hire their own car or we can arrange for a chauffeured vehicle to collect you when you arrive.
